Thinking Bigger – Inspirational project highlights real voices

19-10-2018

Our Big Thinking participant engagement project gives people who are accessing support from Action Towards Inclusion a platform to speak their voice and share their experiences.

Through a series of creative workshops with participants and keyworkers on the programme from across York, North Yorkshire and East Riding, Inspired Youth have been listening to people share experiences around challenges they face, benefits, overcoming barriers to education and employment, messages to employers, mental health awareness and a shed load of success stories.

All the work is showcased on a website and also features #StoriesOfATI which is a series of short stories featuring participants from all walks of life. Some of the work is digital online stories while some of the stories are brought to life through film. See Jo’s story below.
