Jo’s moving on up – new Big Thinking film

Big thinking is proud to present our latest short film featuring Jo who is receiving support through Action Towards Inclusion with an organisation called Scarborough & Ryedale Carers Resource. In this short film Jo talks about her journey and how she is gaining 1-2-1 support through S&R Carers Resource on the Action Towards Inclusion programme to help her grow in confidence and move closer to her aspirations.

1 in 8 adults (around 6.5 million people) are carers
  • Every day another 6,000 people take on a caring responsibility – that equals over 2 million people each year.
  • 58% of carers are women and 42% are men.
  • Over 1 million people care for more than one person.
