A new consultation film ‘Action Towards Inclusion’ made as part of a huge european social fund bid, was premiered for the first time to participants who feature in the film.
Participants and staff from Purple Patch, Peasholme and Orb were invited to The Royal York Hotel to come together, see the film and establish a participant engagement board. If successful, Action Towards Inclusion will be a partnership of over 60 organisations across North Yorkshire working with adults facing a range of barriers. The participant engagement board will encompass participant voice to help shape and improve program delivery.
Participants worked together to explore the key roles and responsibilities of the Participant Engagement Board in the event the funding application is successful.
The bid, led by Your Consortium, aims to engage adults to improve confidence, remove barriers and support individuals towards education, training and employment.
